Workbook Detective - Add warning for Excel 2016 QueryTable Bug
Excel's formula filldown feature, which is used by Excel's QueryTable, has a serious flaw in Excel 2016 all newer versions (as of 2020-02-10). Symptoms include all or part of the header row of a QueryTable being copied into the body of the QueryTable, and formulas in adjacent columns (or inserted between columns of the QueryTable) being destroyed. The most common trigger is a query that returns less than two rows of data. Consequently, it would be nice to put a /!\ warning triangle /!\ in the Workbook Detective's list next to QueryTables that are less than two rows high, with…

Create a feature to show hidden named ranges in name manager
Typically if you copy over the data from one excel file to another. Excel creates hidden named ranges, and this typically doesn't show in name manager unless you write a VBA code. If you use the Inspect document feature, it will tell you if you have hidden names in your file. It would be nice to have a button that would run this VBA code to unhide hidden named ranges, so then you can go to name manager and delete them. I used the below code from the website below to unhide hidden ranges and code is listed below site:

Display just the result
This is a really great formula debugger, but most of the time I just need to see the formula and the result simultaneously. When the Formula Explorer is open, it takes up a lot of room and I already see the formula in the built-in formula bar. It would be great if above or below the formula bar, there was just the result in a thin bar. Extra points if the text is selectable so I can copy/paste part of whatever I'm referencing. Thanks!

Formulaexplorer External References
The Formula explorer cant seem to resolve External References properly. I've tested it with an UDF and the input arguments are wrong when opening the Formula explorer but are working just fine in excel.

Advanced formula manager
The management of formulas in Excel has long been unchanged. Perhaps the sentence described by reference will fit into the FormulaDesk concept.

Option to disable shortcuts
Include the shortcuts for subscript/supscript (CTRL+= and CTRL+?) in the "Disable keys" option menu since they may interfere with current shortcuts on non US keyboard layouts.

Copy Pivot Links
Copy a range, row or column, and paste as linked cells to another location and be able to pivot, from row to columnar or vice versa, without losing the links. Cell references will remain the same.

Being able to type in the math viewer
It'd be really good if you could just type in it. I know you can type in that style but it's very hard to figure out how to do and it would be good if I could just click on a cell and start typing

Establish the link between the precedents/dependents and the active cell
When a precedent or dependent is selected from the treeview window, the active cell will move to the referenced cell accordingly.

Add feature to be able to copy formulas as text, and paste as formulas
Sometimes when you copy a formula from a cell from one excel file to another file, the excel formula adds the formula but also brings the location of the file in the formula. Its annoying the Microsoft has not fixed this issue yet. Any other solutions are welcomed..

Be able to add comments to parts of a formula
It would be useful to be able to put comments on parts of a formula so that it would be easy to see at a quick glance what is happening.

Merge to Center Across Selection conversion
Add a feature where all instances of 1-row-high clusters of merged cells can be unmerged and use the Center Across Selection alignment instead. The reverse case might be worthwhile as well.
The advantage of Center Across Selection is that you can rearrange columns without worrying about the "merged cell" warning. You still need to redo the alignment, but this is still less work than unmerging and merging.

Custom QAT (Quick Access Toolbar) alternative
An alternative to the built-in QAT, allowing more control over placement, width and spacing of buttons, different types of buttons (dropdowns etc), auto-expand when mouse hovers over it to display more detailed options but stay unobtrusive when mouse is not over.

add "completion indicator" in workbook detective
in the workbook detective, when finding cells with: errors ... only the formula errors option displays "--- no cell found" upon completion if nothing is found.
that same type of indicator would be nice for all the other error find options ... note that feedback is provided (no cell found) when finding all other choices besides that indicated above

Pivot Customizer
I'm always changing my default pivot setup e.g. tabular layout, no totals, always sum, remove the words "sum of" etc. It should be available either in options or in the pivot design menu. I created short VBA's just to do all these by recording my steps.
